Apple Almond Salad.

This National Nutrition Month, make sure you actually eat nutritious meals! This delicious Apple Almond Salad is easy to make and it’s filled with nutritious foods like apples, nuts, and an assortment of other healthy vegetables.

Prep Time: 10 minutes.

  • 8 small apples, diced
  • 1 cup craisins or other dried fruit bits
  • 8 cups bagged, pre-cut mixed greens
  • 1 cup non-fat, bottled raspberry vinaigrette
  • 1 cup chopped almonds

Directions

  • Rinse and drain the apples and mixed greens before you begin.
  • In a large salad bowl, add the ingredients and toss gently.
  • The recommended serving size is 1 ¾ cup.
