Firebrand Artisan Breads is one of our newest construction projects, and we’re very proud!
At Proforma Construction, we are proud of every construction project that we complete, and Firebrand Artisan Breads is no different! Firebrand is located on 2343 Broadway in Oakland, and is most definitely worth a stop in.
Firebrand Artisan Breads was started by long time baker Matt Kreutz in 2008. Matt started baking on wood fired ovens when he was 15 years old, and finally reached his dream of opening his own brick oven bakery with Firebrand! The deliciously handcrafted breads at Firebrand have quickly become a favorite of chefs in the local area.
The Broadway location of Firebrand opened in Fall 2015 in the Uptown Hive development and is their first retail location. The retail store sells their delicious wood-fired breads, as well as pastries by Colleen Orlando, salads, sandwiches, and coffee and tea by Highwire Coffee Roasters.
